In Firefox you used to be able to just type something into the address bar without the www. or .com bits and it would either find the relevant site, send you to a Wikipedia article, or send you to Google with search results. However, now when I type something in, it always takes me to a site called OpenDNS. How do I revert back to the old way of doing things?

Thanks,

Michael.

Your dns servers are probably set to opendns's servers. Change them to your isps and it should all work again.

TCP/IP config in the network properties. Change it from set static to either the DNS setting you have, or if you havn't been given any detail, set dynamically.

The DNS setting is already set to obtain the address automatically. What do I do now?
