Every new page i open takes ages to load pictures/content, its been like this for a while maybe 3-4 weeks i remember installing a dodgy extension a while back and experiencing the same thing but ive not installed anything this time round

A quick refresh gets everything going but i would prefer it to load as normal, im on 4 mb connection so it aint connected to that

Anyone got any ideas?
 
New profile/Firefox safe mode? Is it the same if you're going back to a page after having not looked at it for a while/just after closing the tab?
 
Normal profile from what i can gather the normal one ive always used :confused:

Happens on new pages that are opened links etc, but still happens on pages previously visited

I meant have you tried a new profile and/or safe mode?

So if you opened a tab, went to a page, closed the tab, then opened it and went to the same page, it would still take an age to load?
Sounds like the cache is switched off - what's browser.cache.disk.enable set to (in about:config).
