Firefox Problem?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I'm using the latest version of firefox and when i click a youtube video it loads it but takes around 30 seconds to actually load the video and play it. I also went on to google chrome and videos loaded instantly. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix this, cheers

You are not alone! I too have had this for several weeks now.

Are you using AdBlock Plus or uBlock Origin? If so, disable them and reload the browser and try YouTube again, does it load instantly then?

Have you tried Firefox Nightly for 64 bit?

It's not a Firefox issue. I'm on Firefox official channel 64 bit.

Disabling "Youtube High Definition" extension has completely fixed it for me, I also purged the uBlock Orgin cache and manually updated them.
