I was wondering, as this would be quite handy for me whilst at work, is there any way in Firefox or via an addon or extension or Greasemonkey script to not load images on webpages until you click on the image you want loaded (like it replaces the image with a thumbnail or icon until clicked).

does that make sense?

Google 'imagepref', it's an addon for firefox that puts a checkbox in your statusbar, checked to have images loaded or unchecked to not have them loaded.

Simples!

I use it for my RDP from work to home with not much bandwidth available.
