Firefox quickie: unable to add or delete bookmarks and erase history

Dunno how this started, went to add a bookmark and found that clicking the final button did nothing. Later tried to clear some risque history, the delete buttons and even right click > delete did absolutely nothing. I've tried a reinstall, made no difference. Anyone else?

It's fine for me.

Maybe it's some extensions you use?

Try a full complete reinstall, as in delete the folder from program files and from the application data folder (Start>Run>%appdata%)

As for the add new bookmarks thing, i've got the same problem. When you try to add a new bookmark and it gives you the option 'Create in' well change the one that says 'Bookmarks' to the other one that says 'Bookmarks'.
Like this:

Choose the highlighted one.
works for me.
