Firefox randomly crashing.

This is really starting to annoy me now. Ever since I got my new hardware (E6320, S3, Ballistix PC5300) I've noticed that Firefox keeps crashing on me. That error report thing pops up saying "firefox.exe has encountered an error and needs to close blah blah blah".

It just seems to happen whenever it feels like, whether I'm reading a page or clicking a link. It happens like every 10 mins too. Luckily the session saver lets me carry on from where it was, but I'd rather get rid of the problem.

I've tried the latest version (2.0.0.3) and I've tried a couple of versions back too. It happens with all of them.

Any ideas?

Is Talkback installed (instructions for finding out if it's installed, and if so where it is here)? Does it fire when Firefox crashes? The previous link should show how to find the incident ID (though from experience, it doesn't always list them).

Tried safe mode and/or a new profile?
Have a look at this and this.

Have a look at this and this.

I've just enabled Talkback now. So if it crashes again it should list why there I assume?

I've created a new profile and am running the safe mode Firefox now. Hopefully it'll help.

Not directly, but from what's uploaded you can tell a lot. If it uploads the data to Mozilla, you'll get a Talkback ID.

I've created a new profile and am running the safe mode Firefox now. Hopefully it'll help.

If it works fine in safe mode or with a new profile, there's a good chance the crashing was a result of an extension or theme.

It hasn't crashed since I've been in safe mode.

The only extensions I've been using is fasterfox and adblock plus, but I've been using these for years so I don't know why they'd start causing problems now.
