firefox refresh page without resending forms

i'm in need of a way to make it so i can refresh the current page i am on without resending information i previous entered in firefox 3, such as from filling out a form, if i refresh i need to resend the data but i don't want to i just want to go to the current page again to wsee the updated affects.

in firefox 2 as the url bar was different to go to a page again there was the go button always active, but now in ff3 it is only active when i type in the url bar.

any way to make it so it is always there, or is there an extension that perhaps gives me the old stlye bar back but putting it in a new place as well as keeping the current awesome bar?

You can restore the Go button without affecting the Smart Location Bar - they're not related in the slightest...

There's instructions all over Google for making the go button persistent, like here. Either that, or just select the address bar and push enter.

You mean not have the Smart Location Bar's search bits? No.

You can make it look something like the old one with Oldbar (although it doesn't change its behaviour really), or 3.1 has some modifiers to change what the bar searches.
