As above, how can I remove it? It got forced upon me when I install some Express editions of Microsoft Visual Studio. I've looked in the obvious Firefox places I can think of but it is invisible. This is with hidden files set to visible btw. :)

Its installed with .NET 3.5 SP1.

Theres a registry key you delete. I think it was under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions

Ah, it's listed as an extension? You should be able to remove it with the usual Add-ons panel (Tools -> Add-ons).

Is it? Could have sworn it only appeared after the Visual Express stuff.

Derr! :D Already tried that. :p Can only disable, the Uninstall box is greyed out. :)

It puts the actual extension in:
C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Windows Presentation Foundation\DotNetAssistantExtension

So you should be able to search for that in the registry to locate the key.
