I installed Sabnzbd last night and it worked for 24 hours without any problems. After coming back from work tonight (having left my pc on all day downloading) I noticed my downloads had stopped and when I try to start Sabnzbd I get an error message from firefox telling me it's blocking the port that Sabnzbd wants to use (119 in my case.) I've found this site but I can't find a a file called user.js or all.js in my mozilla installation:

I don't understand why firefox had no problem with Sabnzbd for the first 24 hours then suddenly decided to block port 119. Anyone experienced this or have any advice on how to get it working again?

user.js is a file you have to add to your profile, all.js is in defaults/prefs/ under where you installed Firefox. That said, the keys that article refers to are blank for me.

I don't get why Firefox blocking those ports would stop your newsgroup client working either...

There's a pile of discussion in a bug to add a UI to manage blocked ports, #85601. The line seems to be that you should use ports 80, 8080, or anything >1024.

Sounds like you've misconfigured something and are trying to access the web interface on the wrong port. Firefox should have nothing to do with SABnzbd other than being used to browse its web interface, which should be configured to operate on a different port to its usenet client, 8080 by default.
