I just found a fix for a issue i have been experiencing in firefox since firefox 7 that i thought it was going crazy with.
When savings anything with save as, images, videos anything, it used to go to the last location that was used (the last save location) if you have the option to pick save location enabled. But in firefox 7 they thought it was a good idea to change this setting so that it remembers the location for each server or something. It meant that when saving it would randomlly go to different places, it was very annoying and a lot of people had same problem.

The fix is to add a new entry in to about:config
browser.download.lastDir.savePerSite user set boolean false
