For some strange reason on specific websites using firefox i'm unable to scroll up or down due to the Overflow : Hidden is set on the website? The only way i can seem to fix this on the page is to delete the Overflow:Hidden setting under developer tools. However, is there anyway to remove the hidden feature by default?

I assume you have adblock / privacy extensions running. Most sites have a GDPR cookie modal that pops up before allowing you to interact with the site. The extension is probably blocking the modal but the overlay that disables interaction and scrolling is still present. You will need to disable the addon and sort your cookie permissions for effected sites.

John Lewis is a site that does this for me.

Fixed it by adding an addon
