Firefox slow since update? (with Java stuff)

Facebook is dog slow now, it nearly crashes and locks up quite often when browsing the site.

Anyone else experiencing this? The browser just seems sloppier in general too.

Facebook use Java? Do you mean JavaScript?
Facebook's JS is dire at best so it's possible it's at their end.

Yep that's what I meant, it works fine on IE but on Firefox it's a lot slower for some reason.

Which version? Any addons? Tried safe mode/new profile?

Facebook also sniff your User Agent and send different code depending on what they detect. Unless there's some other site that's similarly slow, it's probably a FB issue.
