Firefox Spell Check?

I could have sworn in the beta version of Firefox 2.0 there was a spell check that could be used on all text boxes. For example, here in the reply box at OCUK incorrect words would be highlighted red and a right click option would let you change them. Was this feature removed or is it hidden away in the labyrinth of Firefox options?

Cheers,

It is in the options but it isn't working?

Unless I haven't mispelt a word for about 2 weeks :D

Abnnnominal

nope - defo doesn't work

also right click > spell check this field

make sure that's ticked. Also check your using the dictionary and that it's not just installed.

That option doesn't even appear in the menu!

Add dictionaries does though, and I've just tried adding another one.

I had this problem, downloading a dictionary from Mozilla via FF solved it.

Thought I was going mad :o

This also happened to me.

I never got that start page telling you to install dictionaries after upgrading to FF2.0 and wondered why spell checking didn't work. I added a dictionary, restarted and was good to go from that point.

If you don't have the spell check this field, then you haven't got a dictionary.

right click > languages >

you should see something like English / united kingdom, with a tick by it. If you just see add dictionary there your problem.
