Hi after about 10 minutes browsing fire fox soft scroll starts stuttering.

If I close and reopen after a few seconds all is good.

Any help is welcome.

I have tried so far:

1. Disable hardware acceleration.

2. reinstalled fire fox.

3. Started fire fox in safe mode.

4. Uninstalled Add-ons

5. Font size

6. Changed cache size.

The list goes on.

honestly the only suggestion I have is to change from firefox.

I'm an avid firefox fan (add ons) and used it as my main browser until they screwed up the UI however it was getting harder and harder to recommend it due to it just having loads of little underlying 'bugs' like scroll etc. I'd go as far as say ie11 is actually better than firefox now if you exclude things like addons

You could try a new profile but I'd just get a different browser, palemoon would be my suggestion, it's based off firefox so all the plugins work.

OK cheers buddy will give palemoon ago.

hmmm sounds like my work pc... firefox is really laggy for no reason, been fine for years but just slow and glitchy now. Reinstalled it an no addons and exactly the same.

Could be a memory leak, used to happen on my old pc, Firefox would bloat up to 3gb+ on a 4gb ram machine. Had no choice but to restart the browser.

There was an addon called Mem Restart that helped a tiny bit :/

I will add that the latest realise doesn't seen as stable as the fee versions before.

Firefox 32 should be out in a few weeks. Hopefully it will gent back to how it was.

The usual fix for Firefox is to remove or change the profile.

Mozilla provide instructions here, though alternatively you could delete the existing profile from %appdata%\Mozilla (though copy the existing profile first incase you need something from it).

Tbh i am also getting fed up with Firefox lately, tried the newest IExplorer and does feel snappier but so used to Firefox.

This is the problem for me I now use the addon and it works very well thank you, also I changed my profile which helps firefox last a little longer.

I tried palemoon but just did not feel as smooth.
