The feature where you can just flip through 'tabs (webpages)' on Firefox is quite good, and better than having to flip between multiple browsers. But is there an easier way of opening another tab or closing them? Currently I click 'file', 'new tab' or right mouse click, 'close tab'. Is there not just one button somewhere that allows you to quickly open or close a tab?

Right thanks, and click the red cross to close the open tab.

Any idea why when I open a new tab, my default home webpage does not open, and I have to click on the home (house) button?

CTRL+W closes the tab you're viewing

CTRL+Shift+TAB flicks between your tabs.

right click on link > open in new tab

hold ctrl and click on link > open in new tab

If you want to open a link in a tab, click the scroll wheel on the link. :)

Edit: As a post higher up said.

Note to self: Learn2read n00b :p

So is there a way using just your mouse without going file new tab blah blah to get another tab open when you only have the one screen open (as in no tab bar to double click) always bugged me but just use ctrl T.

When you open a new tab, do you get a blank page, or does your home page come up - assuming your not clicking on a link?

Getting a blank page is the intention.

you can add it to the customizable navigation bar too.

I use center click for everything. I use it to open a new tab by clicking on my home icon. I use it to close open tabs by clicking on them. Yay for center clicking.

Nice, didn't know you could open and close tabs with the mousewheel. Cool.

What are you talking about though Impaler Billy, center click?
