Firefox takes ages to load??

Hi,

It has been like this for ages.
Firefox(1.5 latest one?), takes ages to load from cold, like 14 seconds. IE takes about 2 seconds.

I disabled all av and spysweepers etc, and still the same.
I tryed fasterfox and still the same.
Tryed installing it again, and still the same(well, installed over it)

Any ideas?

I love FF, but taking 14 seconds to load is a bit of a peee take.? It is a shared pc with profiles, so not like i can leave it on all day.

Any help appreciated.

Sounds like an extension playing silly buggers to me.

Thats the thing, as far as i know, i have no extensions installed?

I'll give that tweak thing a go and let you know!

I downloaded fasterfox again.
Seemed to do the trick!
