Firefox up the wall ?

OK so last night Firefox updated to firefox 58 ( i had been using firefox 45 ) and now for some reason All my bookmarks and folders ( dozens of them in the bookmark sidebar) which i had colleted over months and months are just not there anymore not even the default Folders in the sidebar that would be there when one first installs Firefox, it's just blank.

anyone got any ideas please ?

Firefox keeps multiple bookmarks backups, just restore one of them. There'll be a guide out there somewhere.

Everything ( Includes Backup ) :rolleyes:

is gone, yet...when I just went to bookmark a random page it let me choose which folder to save it to.

And it wont even let me make a new folder

Yeah

OK I got rid of Firefox , rebooted, got Firefox back ( the latest version ) and now lol all my bookmarks are back ( I did back them up this time ) , still at a loss as to why they all went ?

I would recommend exporting them to chrome and swapping browsers!
