Firefox Upgrade - Importing Passwords?

I've finally upgraded Firefox from v2 to v3 and the install didn't give me the option to import bookmarks or any saved data. I managed to find the bookmark file but I'm struggling with saved username/password combinations.
Is there a way to transfer login data that I had saved in v2 to my new install? I'm sure I can do it all manually and find any user IDs/passwords that I can't remember, but it would be very helpful if they could just transfer across.

Thanks,

Siobhan

Re-install version 2 then install the FEBE extension to create a complete backup (you'll need to go into FEBE options then tick all the boxes on what to backup, I do a combination full profile and selective).

Then once backed up install version 3 and FEBE once again and restore your backup either completely or selectively - in your case selectively and choosing just the usernames/passwords file (will have saved as usernames-passwords{profilename}.json) and anything else you want to restore.

Will look like:

FEBE should be a part of Firefox it's that useful.

It should just happen automatically when you start it up.
The only time you'd expect it to go crazy is if you went between the versions (i.e. upgraded to 3.0 then went back to 2.0 and upgraded again) with the same profile. Blowing away signons.sqlite then starting 3.0 would import from the old 2.0-format files in that case.
