Does anyone else get this same 'bug'?

Close all programs
Open Firefox so it is your only window open.
Use Alt-Tab to switch wondows, except it switches to desktop because there are no other windows to switch to.
Now with firefox minimised, use the mouse to click on Firefox in the taskbar.
Firefox won't 'restore', it stays minimised.

No combination of Alt-tab, right click 'Restore' etc seem to recover from this. The only thing to do is Right click and 'close' from the taskbar then re-open Firefox.

It only seems to happen with Firefox.

Can other people reproduce this same problem? Might help me decide if it is a general Vista/Firefox bug, or whether its a particular add-on causing the problem.

I know it souds like a stupid problem, that should never bother me, as there's no need to alt tab with only one window open. But it just seems to happen a lot. I guess I alt tab too frequently!

Why are you Alt Tabbing with one application open?

See the quote below from the first post ;)

Basically I use it as a shortcut to get to desktop - I'm just used to using Alt-Tab instead of Win+D. As I said in the OP, I know it's not a big deal, and I can easily avoid it, but because it's obviously something I use out of habit, then I just wondered if there was a way to stop it happening. So first I thought it made sense to see if it happens for eveyone, or just me.
