Firefox WMV embedded videos not showing play/status bar

Ok I've just noticed this in firefox when visiting gametrailers.com On all the WMV videos I'm getting this:

When I should be getting this:

I would normally get a little status bar at the bottom of the video with play and pause buttons. The videos play fine I'm just not getting that bar.

If I load up the site in IE it works perfectly.

Any one got any ideas? I haven't got any extensions enabled that would interfere with video playback.

It's of little relevance as I've fixed it now.

Turned out the Firefox Windows Media Player plugin either wasn't installed at all or just not working properly.

I installed the plugin again using the download link from this site and all is well again.
