firefox wont load properly -

hi guys

i noticed recently that firefox wouldnt load pages properly. sometime when i click or visit any websites, it'll just hang and connecting..........

i thought it might be my 50mb virgin media is playing up or dodgy website servers but when i quickly copy/paste to IE8 or chrome, it would load instantly. FF still carrying on hang and connecting.

i double checked the network settings in FF options, nothing there, everything default as always, same with IE8 and chrome.

what's up with my firefox (3.6)

I would just try reinstalling it and disabling most of your addons if you have any. My 3.6 seems slower than the older version as well.
