I recently had to do a fresh/clean install of XP due to a problem with the PC. I am currently with Tesco BB and reinstalled the Speedtouch modem and hooked up to BB once again and reinstalled Firefox.

Now before I had to do a clean install of XP whenever I would double click on Firefox it would bring up the Connect MyISP box where I would click Connect and get access to BB.

Since the clean install I have had to double click the Tesco BB icon to connect to BB and then double click the Firefox icon to start surfing.

It's not a problem as such but I much preferred to double click Firefox which would automatically bring up the Connect MyISP box and connect to BB. How do I get this back?

Is this not something to do with the internet connection properties ?

Try checking inside Internet properties (in control panel) and see whats checked there. If never dial a connection is checked, then thats the culprit. Try changing it to always dial and see what happens then.
 
you should get an adsl router, no need to setup anything on the pc then, just plug in cable & go :)
