Question:

Hi,
Why do some of us have such low combined scores?
I noticed that a lot of us including myself get significantly lower combined scores compared to others, Scrolling through the results & using mine as a comparison I compare it to one with the same gpu as me that's getting a slightly better gpu score but, it has a cpu score that's significantly lower than mine & somehow they're getting a combined score that's over 2000 points higher than mine,
What am I missing?
There's obviously something going wrong or very right depending on where you're sitting but I can't figure out what & I'd appreciate someone explaining it to me please.

This thread is around a year old now - But gives you a few ideas to read into :D

Also the following link explains how the scoring is made up for Firestrike

http://akamai-dl.futuremark.com.akamaized.net/3dmark-technical-guide.pdf

Basically it boils down to the fact Firestrike isnt designed for the sort core count / thread counted CPU's we have today - We should be using TimeSpy for new tech

That's a bit odd as Firestrike isn't that old & if I'm remembering right on release they said it had been designed to remain relevant & continue pushing the limits of the hardware we get for years to come, plus it's not like we didn't have high core count cpu's back then, We've had them for years with Bulldozer & Intel-e etc.
Anyway thanks for the links I'll have a good read.

Scoreboard updated.:)

Cheers.

Forgot to update this one, sorry about that Kaap!

Worked on it for two days and my mind was in a blurr.

I don't think I can push anymore out of it (I could probably, but would take me weeks of slamming my head into the desk, doing fire dances, and painting my face to look like I am going to war)

Sapphire Vega 64 LC Bios

Amd Ryzen 2700x

Score 20,917

Graphics Score - 26,610

Physics Score - 22,702
