Firewall Alerts

I've been on these Forums for a while and for the first time I've started getting alerts from my Kerio Firewall whenever I bring up

It doesn't happen on any other page - yet.

Whatever it is they're very persistent using a series of addresses and always port 8080.
A number of them include reference to 'planetlab'. Google didn't help much.

I don't pretend to understand a lot of what goes on in these areas but it just seems strange.

The 'launching application' seems to be my browser - Firefox 2.0.0.8

Probably not the right Forum but I couldn't find a better one.

Looks like someone is linking from there or has an image they are using from the site?

I thought it was possibly something that shouldn't be happening.

The only other similar situation is where I've found sites which seem to link to PayPal presumably in a similar way.

Since I won't use them I block them as well.

It seems it's acceptable although perhaps in my ignorance I prefer to block them.

If it makes you feel happy and safe and warm and cuddly then block it.

If you aren't going to use any of these sites then it makes sense to block em I think.
