Firewall blocking forum

I'm having a strange issue with my Billion 7404 VGO firewall - its blocking forums.overclockers.co.uk. I keep seeing the forum IP blacklisted. Before the IP is blacklisted each incoming request from the forum is highlighted with "No corresponding session". Anyone having similar issues or any ideas on how to solve this?

start with the obvious: have you tried permanently whitelisting the IP/URL?

Yes - I still the same entries in syslog and once its blacklisted until I manually clear the it I cannot view the forums.

Have you checked with their tech support to find out exactly what triggers that error condition? Like most error messages it's clear something to d with TCP/SSL sessions is causing it but it's very vague as to what.
this forum doens't use SSL much so it's more likely a TCP thing.

I was going to but you can't open a support ticket without the serial number, which I don't have on me as I'm at work.

Well that's the next step. Without knowing exactly what the error means it's hard to dig any deeper.

You can try running wireshark on your PC as you browse to see what your PC is doing and compare a working forum to this one.

Hmm, I've just installed Vista onto my new SSD and the problem has disappeared. Can't explain it. If I get a chance I'll go back to my other Vista install and see if the problem returns.
