Firewall problem

Hi,
I have a pc connected to the internet through a BT router and I also have a laptop conected to the same router via a wireless connection. I wanted to also share files between the Laptop and the PC. I set up a small network using Win XP and it works ok, however I cannot get the two to 'see' each other across the network if either one has its firewall running (Kerio (free eddition)).

I cannot seem to configure the FW on either to be able to allow a connection while the FW is running.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

There should be a "trusted zone" option in Kerio that'll let you add the machine's IP.

Thanks for the reply. Yes there is a 'Trusted Area' option, in which I have entred the IP of the opposite machine on both computers. It doesn't seem to make a blind bit of difference.
