Firewall Software.

Hi.
Ive just learnt, as im trying to download it, that Sygate has been bought out by Symantec.
So what Firewall program would you lot recommend to take its place for my laptop?

ZoneAlarm isnt an option as it has compatibility issues with some programs i use.

Whats the comodo anti-virus program like?
I usually use Avast, but if the comodo one is any good?

Its for a laptop guys/gals. One that'll be plugged into more than my home network.
