Firewall's

I've asked this a couple of times in other threads, but never really had a response.... What firewall would people recommend for Vista x64?

Is Vista's own FW good enough to go it alone, or would you use another? Would you use em both??

I'm gonna sound really stupid now (again!).... I've no idea if my Router has a built in firewall!?!?! How would i check that?

I'm planning on getting NOD32 this week, so i'll see how i get on..

NOD32 is good. And what router? Let us know and I'll look it up for you.

I doubt it has one, it's from my isp (read 'cheap') lol! It's an Actiontec DSL Gateway.

As you can probably tell, i know absolutely nothing about Routers...

I myself have migrated a 6-7 device home lan from Windows firewall to just the router firewall and have had absolutely zero issues with either in the ~7 years it's been running.

That's good to know. I think the Internet is making us all a tad paranoid to be honest.

With the hardware firewall, would i not have to do anything to set it up!?! How do i know it's actually doing anything?

Ah! Yes it is in there, just doesn't mention firewall... Just says NAT.
