The VR mod for Firewatch is now available for free. Previously you had to be a patron of the modder to access it.
I've been playing it this evening and it's excellent - a really decent VR port, better than some made for VR games.
And being somewhat of a walking simulator with pretty scenery and a lot of dialogue, this game seems particually suited to VR. In fact I've had it for a while but stopped playing it because I thought it really would be better in VR, and it is!
These recent VR ports are really doing the job that Valve and other publishers ought to be doing, given that there is a dearth of decent original PC VR games recently.
