Firewire Cards

Hi All,

I have an Abit IP35-E, which has two PCI-E x1 slots, would a firewire card in these slots be quick enough to run a firewire 400/800 audio interface without problems?

I think PCI-E x1 is rated at PCI Express 1.0 (x1 link)[39] 2 Gbit/s 250 MB/s.

So the answer would be yes.
