Bit of an odd question, but thought this was the best catagory to post it. I need to convert a few old mini dv tapes and don’t have a FireWire port anymore. Can anyone tell me if the FireWire pci cards’ available on the bay are supported by programs such as Premiere for this purpose? Is it just as simple as getting one of those, windows installing a driver and Premiere seeing it. Or is additional software needed? Are some cards better than others?
