Hi all,
I have a ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI mobo which has only three 16x pcie slots.
The first has a RTX 3090 FE in running at 16x.
The third has a USB card in running at 4x (4 ports but with 4 separate controllers)
The second port is currently empty but I would like to put a TI Firewire card in it if possible. This only needs to run at 1x.
Looking at the manual this would force the graphics card slot to run a 8X I believe? It there any way to use this second PCIE slot (with a 1x Firewire card in) and have slot 1 at 16x, slot 2 at 1x and slot 3 at 4x?
One PCIe4 M2 slot is used and one PCIe3 M2 slot is used for storage.
