Hey guys

I volunteered myself for my first bit of event photography by offering to photograph the local fireworks display. Never done fireworks before, so I'm pretty pleased with the result. Borrowed a friends EFS 10-22mm for these. Shot on my 450D.

So heres the photos for you guys to look at - feel free to C&C

Nice shots for what they are. Fireworks are easy to take shots of when you know where they are actually going (i.e., you are at an event using them!). The real challenge is trying to photograph them at distance when you don't know where they are coming from lol :P

Btw, your watermark isn't gonna protect your images at all as thats a 2 second clone job as its on a pure black background.

Lovely shots, my only problem is the lack of background/foreground, firework shots are nice but they always look a lot better with something else in the picture. It looks like you were in the middle of nowhere so you didn't have a choice. :)

this +100

Tried shooting some of the ones going off around me over the weekend and it was PITA, never again.
