I've had my Noblechairs Epic for a few weeks now and while the build quality is superb, I am finding that the seat base is rather hard. Can anyone advise if the Hero is any softer or pretty much the same with regards to overall firmness. I do love the chair but I'm already considering an upgrade to either the Hero or a Secret Labs Titan.

Have had the Epic since around the time the launched in PU version. It does break in and get softer after a few weeks, but there is still some firmness to it, which you really want anyways to keep reasonable support. I would imagine the Hero is largely similar in that it will break in, but never be classed as soft with need to provide support. But other owners better likely able to provide insight on the hero.

Having sat in both, I would say they are exactly the same. Maybe there is a bit more give in the Hero but nothing your average buyer would notice. Perhaps it's to do with the flatter design of the base.

Thanks for the replies. i think I've probably sat in this chair long enough for it to be broken in as much as it's going to.
I guess it's more of a case of getting used to the feel of it rather than it softening up a great deal. Sometimes I notice the firmness more on one occasion than another.
I think I'll stick with it for now.

Got a cheap £90 job from amazon but the seat don't half hurt the butt cheeks after an hour or so. I've been looking at the secret labs titan. But for £349 i need to know if its any good?

I have also read reviews from people who complain that the Secret Lab Titan can be a little on the hard side. I have drawn the conclusion that the firmness of theses high end chairs is actually a representation of the real good support they provide.
That said I do have a bit of an obsession with the SC Titan myself and currently have my 4 month old black / gold Noblechairs Epic up for sale to have a try of the Titan.
I still love my Epic and have decided that I’d it doesn’t sell I will get the matching footrest to really get the most out of it.

I think i will end up getting the titan shortly if its firm thats fine this thing i have currently is like sitting on a wooden chair really offers no support and i end up with back issues the next morning. So if spending £349 solves that i'll be happy. However the foot rest is £149 extra :O
