Firmware upgrade ender 3 V3 SE

I’ve just got an ender 3. The manual says I should update the firmware. I’m not so sure.

Can somebody tell me
A) if I need to, and
B) how do I find the version I need. The website suggests there is a choice of 2

there's two because there's been two updates, just get the newest.
I'd read the changelog in both updates and see if it's anything you want to fix/update? normally with ender either it's a gamechanging bug fix or they've just added language support.
