Firmware Upgrade

There is a new firmware out for my wireless router, Speedtouch 585 and i have no idea how to upgrade the firmware.

Suggestions please. Thankyou.

Its the v6. Just need instructions on how to update the firmware as i can't see them anywhere.

Ok thanks that is what i was looking for.

Upgraded firmware. WLAN light is now always red instead of green, but laptop can still connect to the net so i don't mind.

In the choose a wireless network box it says my wireless network is unsecured. Wonder if this is why the led is red.

Got it sorted, the initial configuration is done via a program on the installation cd. Now its WEP'ed and the light be green.

Only got it working yesterday after having it for months. Wouldn't sync with my line for some reason. It's the 3rd or 4th router i've had, had Linksys, Netgear and something else, none of them would sync with the line until now, guess thats what i get for living in the country.

As for tweaking no idea.

I bought the speedtouch from OCUk, Plusnet supplied me with a BT Voyager 105.
