Hi there, this would be my first attempt at over clocking.
I have read the guide here but tbh some it scares me off attempting it and I would like some experienced advice for a relatively safe over clock of my CPU with a moderate improvement.
My specs are as follows:
M/B = Winfast Foxconn 760GXK8MC socket 754 on SiS 760GX chipset
CPU = AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.8GHZ
Bios = Phoenix
Ram = 1.5G of PC3200 DDR400
GFX card = Winfast 7600GT-TDH 256MB DDR3 (AGP)
PSU = standard 450W
The CPU and GFX card have standard cooling. The case has provision for a fan, which I might fit if you think I will need it.
From what I have read the Sempron is a fair to good candidate for O/C but the motherboard & SiS chipset wouldn’t be a clockers choice.
What can I “easily” and safely tweek please guys & what method should I follow ??
Many thanks in advance fro your advice.
