First Bike ! Which Bike do I get out of these two

If the sizes that are left in the Jamis fit you then I'd pick that as sora is step up from 2300, the fork is fully carbon by the way I read it and the wheels are better imo.
 
wonderful thankyou for your advice,

a cycle shop staff member said to me that the newer models are using lesser quality parts so they make bigger margins on the popular models....this response suggests that to be the case ...
 
I've recently bought the 2013 base level Allez, it's my first road bike and I've been very happy with it. I was tempted to pay a little extra for the sport, but decided I'll roll with this for a while and if I want to upgrade in a year or so I'll bump it up £1k+.

Well someone nabbed the Jamis Ventura Comp so I cant get that one...I hope it wasnt you Jordan282 because at 6ft 2 a 54cm frame will be far too small.

Anyway, I will stick with my pre order of The Specialized Allez 2013 and next year look to upgrade if all goes well....I can do this on the ride to work scheme too as I believe you can purchase more than one bike on the scheme.
