First boot - fans on, nothing on monitor

no beeps but the motherboard didn't come with a speaker and the speaker is built into the motherboard in my old PC so i can't use that one.

Check all the modular cabling at the PSU end of the cable. Correctly socketed? No awkward runs putting stress on the connections? Check voltages on the SATA/Molex plugs when PC is running (fans spinning). 5V and 12V.

I tried the system again out of the case with just the 24pin and 4pin power connectors. These are the non-modular cables so nothing else is plugged in. If i remove the 4pin power connector, the system shuts down immediately so i don't think it's the PSU. I don't have a multimeter though so can't test the voltages.

The motherboard, CPU and RAM have all been returned for testing and are apparently fine and working. It was suggested that the Corsair CX430M isn't powerful enough but Overclockers support have advised me that this should be fine (No GPU is being used).

If the Corsair CX430M powerful enough for:

3570k
GA-Z77X-D3H
8gb Corsair vengeance
