First boot problem

Hi i just assembled my new pc, the first time i booted it told be to install a operating system, so i put the windows disk in. After a while the screen froze and stopped responding, so a reset the computer. But after the reset i my monitor keeps saying no video input.

I sometimes get video input and sometimes i dont and its just a blank screen. When i get video input i get to the bios, but after a while the screen freezes and i cant do anything.

When the motherboard beeps once i can get to the bios but when i hear no beep i get a blank screen.

I have no idea what i did wrong, help would be appreciated.
 
Could tell us a bit more about the system?

If you could quickly get the system temperatures and the psu 12v 5v 3v output that would also be helpful

At a guess i'd say the heat sink of your CPU cooler isn't touching your proccessor
