Hey I have all my hardware etc and I am onto looking up the first boot, I have it all written down but I have a few questions:

When installing windows 7 do I need to partition my hard drive, I was watching the newegg tutorial and it said to partition it but leave it as the default maximum amount in the partition?

when I install drives do I install the ones that come with the parts on disc first then get the more up to date ones off manufacturers websites?

can anyone tell me where to get the drivers for sapphire radeon 7850 2gb GPU?

any help appreciated.

Partitioning is my view is down to personal choice, I have not done this in the past.

I tend to download the latest from the manufacturer, if its the motherboard drivers I go direct to the motherboard manufacturer and download there.

Graphics go to the AMD website and download the latest.

You should only need to create a partition on your primary hard disk in order to install windows if it has not already been done. You can normally do this during the windows 7 setup. Yes, leave it as the max size.

For the motherboard, you can use the drivers on the CD/DVD to install the necessary components like the Audio & Ethernet and if you need to update the drivers, just download them from the manufacturer's website.

7850 drivers can be found HERE.

yes I am using new parts and new OS so when installing windows 7 when the screen for partitioning the hard drive come up do I just press next or partition it to the max size?

Drivers wise I always make sure I have the Ethernet drivers on a memory stick just in case Windows doesn't install any.

You can then at least get onto the internet to get the latest drivers for your motherboard.
