Hey guys, so I have bought all the parts for my build (I was working with a £600 budget spent about £640)

Zalman Z11 Plus

GIGABYTE Z97-HD3 Mobo

Intel Core i5 4670K

Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2gb

G.Skill 8GB (2x 4GB) Dual Channel RAM

Kingston Technology 120GB SSD

WD 1TB Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue

N600 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter

NZXT SENTRY 2 Fan Controller

(I have win 8.1 also)

And this is my first build so I was just wondering if people had any tips for me, any advice and also If I need to add anything to it? I don't have a CPU cooler other than the stock Intel one as of yet, but I don't plan on OC it yet. But any recommendations would be awesome?

Thanks people.

If your gaming a good sound card to add to this would be great.

Creative Sound Blaster Z Gaming Sound Card a good choice. IMHO.

A bit late, the OP has already bought the parts he specced in the opening post.

Okay I have got the same case as you and the first thing I can say is that it is absolute poo :( is there any way of you returning it? If not then dont worry but the cable management is a pain to deal with and it is very flimsy, but it still functions for its price i guess.

Buy a Hyper 212 evo (which is roughly £25) and you will have a silent and powerful gaming rig. Good luck.

Have you already built this?

Just take your time and you'll be fine. The most fiddly bits will be the cables for the power button, reset switch et al.

Lay everything out on a clear surface in a pet-free room (a cat rubbing against your leg will generate static) and make sure you have a magnetic cross-head screwdriver. It's best to have two, one long and one short. You use the long one for rescuing screws you've dropped!

Safety: touch a radiator periodically to earth yourself, and do not have any drinks to hand. Static and spilled drink can seriously ruin your day.

Use cable ties to keep everything neat. You likely won't need the fan controller.
