Hi ive just done my first build but i also choose to build my own case.
Im running
-Intel Core i5-4570 Processor
3.2GHz / 6MB L3 Cache Socket LGA1150 SR14E
-ASUS H81I-PLUS Intel H81 Socket LGA 1150
-HyperX White Fury 8 GB RAM Memory
-corsair cx430
-raijintek triton 240 dual watercooler all in one

Ive done the first boot outside the case and it worked fine image come up and everything but once i build it, when i pressed the power button it just made a noise like a fuse burning out but no smells or burn marks anywhere, so i put it all a part replaced psu and cooker still nothing,
So i orded a new mobo the same make and model and once again worked in the outside but once in the case did exactly the same noise and nothing will boot or any noise or movements just the mobo that keeps the light on.
Any idea where the problem is coming from?

The case is quite simple its a piece of perpex on the front a piece of wood on the back with big screws to hold both panel, the fans and psu sit in the screws but the mobo is on plastic spacers with long screws direct to the wood and i had a couple of cables going on the back of the mobo, what really can i do now?

The psu is just sitting on top of the big screws and pressured with the 2 panels so i doesnt move. After the noise i wont work in or out of the case. The screw is just a normal long screw that goes from the motherboard direct to the wood i just put i plastic cilinder to raise the mobo, should i use copper standoffs?
