First build - CPU cooler question

Hi There,

Just a really quick and probably fairly insignificant question that I couldnt see answered else where.

I'm about to order the Gelid Traquillo cooler to sit on a i5 2500k, I plan to OC the CPU to around 4.4ghz (when I've learnt how!).

Would people recommend that I get additional Thermal Compound? I know the Gelid T comes with GC - 2, will that be perfectly fine for my plans to OC and keep temps low?

Is it pre applied do you know? I'm a bit nervous about the application of the "gunk", you know, how much to put on, blob or spread, no air bubbles....All to much pressure!
