Hello all, I've lurked off and on reading stuff and trying to learn. Some of the info went in and some didnt
I'm hoping for some opinions on the components I purchased today. Were I a smarter man I would have gotten the opinions first but hey ho... I'm not a total beginner having replaced components and even fixed a few problems for friends but new to scratch building.
I already have a copy of windows 8, keyboard, mouse and monitor (actually using my TV, works well). I also have a Pioneer Blu-ray drive and an Nvidia GTX 560 Ti which I will use initially and upgrade when funds allow, not really been a PC gamer, more into emulators but I am spending sod all on the next generation of consoles and so will begin to game on my computer...So, onto the parts I bought.

I dont know how to make it appear as in some of the threads here, sorry!
I tried to choose components for a solid and relatively future proof build, I wont be playing any of the newest games etc, just needed a decent small form factor pc. Comments welcomed, hoped for actually. Please kepep the laughter to a minimum though
EDIT : I also have a couple of 1.5TB hard drives for storage so not in a rush to add in that direction. Perhaps my RAM choice could have been improved? And the SSD I chose was a bargain at that price, I'll upgrade that too in time and keep the old for fast music and game storage.
