So its a skulltrail mobo and i thought id play it safe and get zalman 9500 coolers since they are used in most of the reviews of this mobo so they must fit/work. How wrong i was.

Slot where its meant to go, it cant line up with the holes becasue the nib at the top stops it.

They simply dont fit. The pics show what i mean better.

Other way round, it fits the holes but the rhs gap is too small to get the catch in.

Other cpu. slot where its meant to, cant get screw in cause the nib at the bottom hits the black things.

Other way round with screws in, the lhs nib cant fit in. It can make it in ength but not in height. The top of the black things is higher than the catch.

Neither way works. Have i just thrown £70 down the pan?

On closer inspection of all the reviews, they dont fit it as your supposed to at all. Where youre meant to have a catch that goes along the red line, they have a thing that goes across the green line, so they dont have the issues ive got.
