Please tell me what you think of this. Will everything work ok? Will it all fit in the case?

Im not sure what graphics card to go for, which is best? A 9800 GTX, 9800gx or 9600gt SLi?

I would knock that Q6600 down this, that will save you abit of cash, the graphics card is good but this GTS or this GTX would be a different option depending on what resolution you would like to use.

Also you might want to spend that extra cash saved on the graphics card on some brand ram, this not much more and should do you fine. :D

Rest looks good , hope i helped ;)

Why are you putting 8gb in there? No need to be honest. Go for some OCZ or geil ram.

Get rid of that guaranteed to overclock cpu and just buy the OEM Q6600.

Id change the case to an Antec P182 as well

I use it mostly for gaming and hopefully getting a 24" monitor (1900x1200).

Thanks but i dont want an 8800, in my opinion it has to be a 9 series.

The Antec P182 case is nice a lot of people have it, but the NZXT Hush is cheaper, looks good, its quieter, and has good airflow.

well no games are optimised for quads yet, so I'd get an E8*00, newer tech, runs cooler, and is faster for games

as your running a 24", I'd get an 8800GTX myself, it performs better at high res.

The money saved from not buying 8gb and not buying a 'guaranteed overclocker' would pay the extra for the case. Trust me mate its worth it....
