Since Haswell is out next week and after giving away my pc to the younger brother, I thought it would be the right time to build my first rig.

The pc would be almost entirely used for gaming, FPS and RTS mostly. I'm needing the works, desktop, mouse, keyboard and monitor but i already have a spare Win7, also need it wireless network enabled. The option of doing a moderate overclock as well would be great.

My budget all in was going to be around the 1000/1200 mark but I would be willing to throw in a little extra if it would make a noticeable impact or if there was another good reason. Would it be worth buying the bulk of the components the now while there is a 5% discount and wait next week for the cpu and mobo ?

The help is appreciated :D

Now that the haswell CPU's are out has anyone any suggestions on what CPU and mobo to go for? Got about £360 to spend, maybe a little more?

Was thinking the I5 3.4GHZ was a good option?
