Right few questions. Firstly there is a cable on my psu Tagan modular 580W that has no connector at the end. It's just like a metal circle thing? Does this have to be connected, do i have to unscrew a motherboard screw and fix it between that and the board?
Secondly omg the super lanboy is small, having major probs with cables. Got me 7900GTX in there and tried plugging the pci express cable from psu into the back of it, there aint really enough space, i just managed to squeeze it in by removing the card then plugging it in the putting the card back, The cable is quite squashed though.
Also have put dvd drive in top bay and cant get it right in because the wires coming out of psu are in tehy way. Going to try and put it in the lowest bay. Wish id gone for a larger case

-Put psu in
-put ram in
-put cpu in and cooler on. The ****** cooler is absolutely huge (blue orb)
-put hard disk in( connected to sata connection on mb and sata power cable.
-put in dvd drive( connected power and ide cable)
-plugged 20pin and 4pin sockets into mb
Had nightmare with little cables in corner and have left some. Think there only mic and headphone sockets couldnt work out where they go.
Basically want some reassurance that nothing will blow up when i plug in or I have made any monumental cok ups.
Should i just plug it in and see what happens?
