First off this is my first post here so hello.
I have never had a need to post any thing in a forum pc related. As I HAD a friend that took care of any issues I'd have. But after a difference of opinion, I can no longer look to him for help and advice.
I have always bought shop built PC's and never anything to do with water cooling, but after looking after the penny's over the last few years. I have decided that the Gaming PC I have at the moment, (bought in 2010 though it does have a ATI 5850 which has served me well) needs changing for something well better. So i decided to build one for myself and after some looking about I bought:-
Intel i7- 5830K
Asus X99 Rampage Extreme V
Ripjaw F4-3200C16Q-16GRKD
Phanteks Enthoo Primo Full Case.
Corsair AX1200i
But I can't make my mine about GPU. Though I do know its gonna be 2 GTX 980Ti's. Its either the EVGA Hydro Copper, Asus Poseidon, or even the Zotac Artic Storm. I want ones that already has a water block, as I don't trust myself removing any cooling from a non block card. So any help here would be extremely helpful. I play a lot of BF4 and GTA V on a 2560x1440 monitor. (4K next year)
I hope to be buying the cards whatever they are in the next day or two and putting it together hopefully at the weekend.
Now to something that I have no idea about water cooling, I have read lots as well as watched youtube videos but it does not help to ask the people who know. (reason for water none of my mate have it)
What the better flow direction for better cooling from what I have bought. Which are a RayStorm CPU Water Block. XSPC D5 Pump and body, Bitspower Bay Reservoir. 1 XSPC RX360 and a Coolgate 360 XFlow radiators. XSPC 1/2 ID tubing.
Also what is the best way for me to set up my fans on the radiators? Ie top or bottom. blowing / sucking. (I want to fit one rad in bottom of case and the other in the top).
I have bought 6 of the Noiseblocker NB-eLoop Fan B12-P - 120mm PWM which I intend to use the board to power and the case fans I won't be changing, I shall be connecting these to the PWM controller in that comes with the case.
Thanks for reading to the end and thanks for any help you might be give.
